Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a powerful, transformative, evidence based model of psychotherapy. It is based on the assumption that the mind is multiple and our psychology can be understood as a system of 'parts' or aspects of the personality that influence our daily lives by the thoughts, beliefs, feelings and memories that they carry.
IFS is a modality that integrates many techniques including cognitive and relational therapy, trauma reprocessing, somatic techniques, mindfulness and psycho dynamics.
IFS is an experiential and systematic way of working that can help to process and heal significant trauma, facilitating personal growth and freeing us to become more resourceful and connected in our daily lives and relationships. IFS is non pathologising approach that is suitable for working at many depths and levels.

Used within the NHS based on its powerful evidence base, EFT can have truly remarkable results on many physical, emotional and mental issues, as well as simply calming the central nervous system and creating balance. It was successfully trialed during the Covid 19 pandemic in NHS settings for staff to manage the considerable pressures and challenges facing them. It can be taught by a practitioner as an effective tool for personal use outside the session. (Links to a wealth of current scientific research can be provided upon request).

Hypnotherapy is purely finding the very natural state we all access daily, such as when nearly asleep, just as we wake, daydreaming on a beach, reading a book or driving home i.e. where we are less conscious in the here and now. Our sub-conscious is a powerful tool.
We automate most of our routine behaviors and beliefs in our lives, and operate on autopilot, in order to be more effective.
Understanding and reviewing some that may now be less helpful, we can update them. This can be a very powerful way to positively change our lives. Doing this in our most relaxed states is the most effective way to incorporate any changes we choose to make.

Reviewing our past experiences, understanding any patterns, behaviors or beliefs we may be negatively repeating today, is a helpful framework to understand how best to move forward, achieve our aspirations and live our most fulfilling life.
We do not live in the past. We simply use a broad understanding to gain clarity on how it shapes and impacts our current challenges, applying a fresh perspectives to improve our lives today and in the future.

Sometimes described as 'the User Manual for the Mind', NLP is about understanding our minds, behaviors and repeated patterns, and making conscious choices about how well they serve us and whether we choose to continue them or not.
Once we observe and develop awareness around these we can choose which enhance our lives and which to update or change.
A simple, but highly effective, evidenced based tool to help you find peace in the business of day to day life. Often described as a micro mini break to still the mind and body, restore and replenish, before moving on with the day. A powerful, easy to use anywhere tool to create space in your life, bring presence so you are in the here and now of your day, scientifically proven to improve overall wellbeing and quality of life.
Coaching focuses on your future, supporting you to live a fulfilling life, achieving goals and aims that you determine. There are several tools that can be drawn upon within the coaching model to optimise the impact of the work together, including and providing a framework to identify where best to focus in the sessions. Coaching is an extremely effective tool to help achieve aspirations and desires, as well as to overcome any barriers we may have that keep us stuck.
Seasonal Yoga can be used to support somatic elements of this therapy. This style of yoga has its roots in Daoism, nature and Confucianism. It draws on natures cycles, working with the bodies cycles and energy system. Its a supportive way to connect to the body, process trauma and communicate and integrate the therapeutic work.
After decades of working in professional roles in insurance and engineering I found myself at senior management level with poor health and the feeling I wasn't fulfilled by the work I was doing. I decided to review what I wanted the next stage of my life to look and feel like.
Being unwell with M.E/CFS for 10 years had taken me on a journey of looking at my lifestyle, how I related to the world and the impact this had on my health. When the NHS could offer no support or resolution, I started to work with nutritionists, yoga teachers, holistic therapists and multiple mental health practitioners to improve my physical health and also to process the impact of being ill for so long had on my hopes and dreams as a young woman.
Taking a Seasonal yoga teacher training course over the period of a year led on to a deeper understanding of the bodies responses to stress and made me curious about the scientific research into how the body responds and processes trauma.
I had also been working with a clinic in London that specialised in Chronic Fatigue, M.E and Burnout, they had developed a ground breaking practitioner course which is a fully integrated, accredited approach to therapy and coaching providing tools that can fully customise to each clients needs.
Alongside this, I had found Internal Family Systems which was such a deeply transformative form of therapy it allowed me to process and change how I felt about the impact of being ill for so long had on my life and helped me to recover from the PTSD brought on by this illness.
Through this and personally navigating life's many challenges and difficult times i decided that i wanted to change direction and help people improve their mental health. I wanted to give them the tools to use so they can support themselves and their families.
Karuna is Sanskrit for compassion and forms the ethos of the style of therapies that i use with clients. Many of us are our own harshest critics, so i offer a non-judgmental space to reflect and work through challenges and towards goals. I provide a safe and confidential environment where we explore what is happening for you and work together to provide you with the skills to use at any point in your future.
I had several sessions with Victoria and found her incredibly personable and very approachable. I felt like i could open up completely and be totally honest with her. The techniques that she has taught me have helped so much and i have been able to go back to those each time when i have hit a point where i have needed extra support. I feel that Victoria has really helped me make massive positive steps towards healing trauma. I really can't praise her enough.
I have struggled in the past to find the right person to talk to & open up to, however through my first conversation with Victoria, she made me feel relaxed, was warm & friendly but with a real professional approach. I felt extremely comfortable & at ease.
Over my 6 sessions Victoria helped me heal some deeply bedded untruths that have been held in my beliefs for years & also gave me the confidence to feel at ease in my work environment, teaching me some life changing tools & techniques , where before I had spent so long in survival mode.
Victoria is very committed & has helped me massively, I’m not a big talker but somehow she opened me up & it just flowed.
I will be forever grateful for the impact it has had on my day to day life.
I have had the privilege of gaining a huge amount of knowledge and underlying wisdom from Victoria. Her encouragement and inspiration on my journey back to better than ever health has been priceless. She has a very sincere way of putting you at ease, you know your in good hands. Thank you Victoria for all the amazing work you do.
